Daphne Millbrook - Heroes - countyourteeth
What's Happening?: Well, Matt, for one. They've finally slept together, though Daphne's experiencing the same dilemma she's been facing ever since they met: is she cheating on her husband? She loves him -- obviously -- but she's beyond conflicted. In non-Matt news, she's making friends. She hasn't had a lot of repeated threads but she likes most of the people she's met, and that's always promising. I don't have any set plans for February, so I'm open to suggestions.
Opposite Plot: In a way, canon's already given me an opposite plot. I might give her her item -- the crutches -- during this and, y'know, have her be unable to walk for its duration. 'Cause I'm evil.

Kate Bishop - Young Avengers - forhawkeye
What's Happening?: She's shiny and new and loud. I've had her for all of two weeks, and she's already my primary. (MAKE MINE MARVEL!) She's still dealing with the whole Skrull thing -- among other recent Marvel events -- but she's functioning as normally as anyone else on the Island. Which is probably a good thing given how armed she is. I have an idea for a plot in a couple of months -- she needs to be a little more acquainted with people first -- but as it involves endangering someone else's character, I'll need to talk to whoever's interested. (Essentially, there's this moment in canon when Clint makes the Robin Hood shot with a crappy bow, right after Kate said that it was impossible, citing Mythbusters as her source. I'd like for her to have to make the shot under duress, i.e. in order to save someone. Interested parties, please reply!) She's slowly been meeting all of the Marvel characters, but I'd like for her to meet some of the DCs eventually. Or, at the very least, other archers.
Opposite Plot: Probably not.

The Future

Peter Parker - Spider-Man
I've thought about apping Peter since the third movie came out and, in fact, had him on reserve at one point. A few things: he'll be from comic canon and he'll be coming from post-Brand New Day. Yes, yes, I know, way to support Joe Quesada, yadda, yadda, yadda. But it's the latest in a long series of retcons, and Spidey's been around since 1962, so give me a break. Other than that, I have a kajillion ideas for him and April can't come fast enough.

Karolina knows a lot of the DC folks, so if she wants an in rather than meeting them randomly, let me know.

We should do some plotting or something. I know that especially from where I brought Karo, there isn't a ton of crossover, but even a small connection can go a long way imo.
